Therapeutic Exercise Specialist
Luke Fisher has had a diverse professional career, including trades, customer service, and management. He discovered his passion when he began coaching and teaching rehabilitative and athletic movement. This work was fulfilling as it allowed him to help people achieve a higher level of health and fitness while reducing pain levels. In 2015, he earned his CrossFit Level 1 Certification.
Thereafter, he served as a head coach at a CrossFit gym for two years. In that capacity, he coached both group and one-on-one CrossFit classes. During these classes, he monitored students’ movement to ensure safety, customized workouts to make fitness attainable for any athlete, and provided instruction on CrossFit movements and Olympic lifting techniques.
Luke then went on to pursue an FRC mobility specialist certification. By obtaining knowledge of the FRC system, he understood the importance of proper and painless movement to facilitate athletic performance. As a result, he has transitioned from CrossFit coaching to focusing on rehabilitation and therapeutic exercise at Well Balanced.
Outside of Work
When Luke is not at work, you can find him outdoors and being active. Some of his favorite activities include hiking with his dogs, biking, camping, fishing, and kayaking.
