What is Cold Laser Therapy?

Laser therapy is the use of specific wavelengths of light, (red and near-infrared,) to stimulate the body’s natural ability to heal. The effects of laser energy include improved healing time, pain reduction, increased circulation and decreased swelling.

The Summus Laser technology is an FDA-cleared class IV laser therapy that is designed to treat a wide variety of musculoskeletal pain. Laser treatment can be used to treat bulging discs, and neuropathy, including diabetic and post-chemotherapy neuropathy. It is also effective for neck pain, low back pain, plantar facilities, sprains and strains.

What can be treated with the Summus Laser?

Any condition that involves strain, sprain, inflammation or arthritis, may benefit from laser treatment. If you have had a recent surgery or injury, the use of laser therapy can help speed up the healing of surrounding tissue.
